Trucking company is looking to fill Safety and Compliance Manager position.

REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years experience in Transportation Safety and Compliance

In-Depth knowledge & understanding of DOT/FMCSA/Safety guidelines & regulations

Ability to think and act independently, confidence, drive & willingness to learn

The perfect candidate:
Is comfortable to work with minimum supervision

Willing to learn via in-house training, additional courses, seminars, etc.

Has strong decision making ability

Able to strive in a fast-paced environment

Bilingual is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure Company's compliance with FMCSA/DOT Regulations
Maintain DQ Files and process all DOT required paperwork
Oversee driver's HOS/ELD on daily basis
File IFTA (including OR, NM, NY & KY)
Ensure timely IRP & HVUT renewal
OS/OW Permits
Prepare and conduct onsite DOT Audits (if selected)
Manage tickets, violations and challenge them appropriately (DataQ, lawyers etc.)
Ensure required licenses, permits, certifications and insurance is up to date and valid
Maintain required maintenance records and files
Handle liability, cargo and PD monthly reporting, claims & accidents

8AM - 5PM (flexible)

Pay: $52,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
