ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES A Catering Server assists with loading and unloading for events, and performs a variety of tasks, from preparing food, stocking supplies, serving, cleaning tables and counters, resetting tables, greeting customers and answering questions.

? Report in a timely manner for shift dressed according to company dress code and adhering to company hygiene standards

? Greet all guests at functions when making contact

? Function as the “face” of the catering business, engaging clientele and making their experience “WOW”

? Provide food and beverage service to clientele

? Become familiar with catering menu and dietary restriction items and any changes prior to and during event

? Perform cleanup and side work as assigned

? Completes set up and take down of all catering functions including tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware and china

? Bussing and clearing tables

? Filling and refilling stations and buffets

? Willingness to learn new things

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Friendly, outgoing personality Highest level of customer service Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time Ability to function well in a fast paced, team environment Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation within the greater triangle area Must be at least 18 years old or have a valid work permit Ability to work in a fast paced environment and think on your feet in any situation
