Hybrid Work Schedule

High growth specialty insurance carrier focused on providing non-standard auto coverage has engaged Career Transitions to help them hire their next Underwriter for their Mesa office. They are expanding into multiple states and have an opening on their Mesa based team for a Jr. Underwriter. Once fully trained, they offer a hybrid work schedule.

This role is responsible for underwriting and reviewing non-standard auto insurance applications to verify acceptable coverage.

Underwriter responsibilities include:

• Process endorsements and notices of cancellations
• Provide excellent customer service to insureds and agents
• Effectively strategize daily priorities
• Review photo reports
• Process telephone payments from insureds

Underwriter Qualifications include:

• A minimum of two year experience underwriting auto insurance in a non-standard environment
• Experience in a multi-state environment in preferred to include IL, IN, AZ and TX
• Strong communication and attention to detail skills
• Experience with Diamond Insurance software is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
