Tantus Technologies, Inc. As a key member of our Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence team, you will be deployed with our government clients on their initiatives to modernize their products, services, and policies used by healthcare providers and other healthcare-affiliated users. Your work will affect the lives of millions of Americans treated under Medicare.

What You'll Do

While the Human-Centered Design (HCD) Center of Excellence primarily focuses on providing strategic solutions for clients, including education and coaching, you will be a lead contributor offering operational research and design support for an innovative division within the Federal Agency. Specifically, you will:

• Partner with business teams to define the desired product outcomes that are desirable, feasible, and viable
• Partner with business teams to define the scope of work and respond to changing priorities
• Use your solid grasp of user research, information architecture, interaction design, and content strategy to clearly communicate to stakeholders
• Perform qualitative and quantitative user research and testing
• Translate research findings into high-quality deliverables such as research plans, sitemaps, personas, journey maps, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes
• Apply design thinking and Lean UX best practices to support both near-term and roadmap needs of product teams
• Support HCD Center of Excellence strategic design engagements (e.g., training, coaching)

Must Haves

• 3+ years of experience with information architecture, interaction design, and content strategy
• 3+ years of experience conducting user research, with a focus on usability testing and persona and journey map development
• 3+ years of experience working with digital prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma) to create low to high fidelity designs
• 1+ year of Agile software development experience
• 1+ year of experience applying Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) to product designs
• Experience facilitating working sessions or workshops for groups
• Experience with client negotiation and setting expectations against constraints
• BA or BS degree

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Agile certification
• Design thinking or related certifications
• Experience in consulting, workshop facilitation, or training environments
• Ability to be collegial, inspiring, flexible, open-minded, collaborative, and thoughtful
• BA or BS degree in design, library science, human-computer interaction, anthropology, sociology, business, communications, or a related field preferred

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
