Job description
Reports to work in a timely manner, as scheduled, and fit for duty.
Drives transit vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, and exercises the highest degree of care when moving, parking, and backing vehicles in the yard.
Cleans buses and support vehicles, as assigned, according to the specifications on the Bus Cleaning Checklist form.
Assures vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, biohazard kit, first aid kit, triangles) are fully stocked and functional.
Posts notices in vehicles, as required by the client.
Uses equipment provided to clean the vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, as instructed.
Uses materials and supplies provided to clean the vehicles in a prudent manner, as instructed.
Keeps work areas clean, organized and hazard free, including the parking lot, wash bay, maintenance bays, and materials storage area, according to all OSHA and EPA regulations.
Performs general cleaning of administration/maintenance facility and grounds, as needed.
Secures building and yard nightly, locking all doors and gates before leaving.
Uses timeclock to record time worked and meal breaks, as instructed, for payroll purposes.
Attends training sessions, as required.
Maintains professional image and conduct, including a proper, well-maintained uniform while on duty.
Maintains company rules and procedures at all times.
