At the Charleston County Aviation Authority, we give travelers a much-needed moment of calm before they leave or as they return home. Our Valet Attendant service puts customers at ease while taking possession of their vehicle and courteously provides guidance and direction when asked. • You never have a problem striking up a conversation with strangers; in fact, you love getting to know new people and listening to their stories!
• Regardless of whether or not you’ve previously worked in customer service, sales, or neither, you’re an expert at reading body language and matching anyone’s energy, which means people trust you and open up far more quickly than they do with other people who lack this skill.
• Fresh air energizes you, no matter the weather! You may have spent time at your other jobs looking out windows and wondering if working outside is actually as nice as you imagine (hint: it is!)
• Additionally, you’re as comfortable jogging as you are standing for extended periods of time. You’re comfortable when you’re on your feet - moving or not; it beats sitting at a desk all day!

What You Will Do

• You’ll greet travelers and quickly build rapport, giving reassurance that their vehicle is in good hands with you.
• During busy times of day, the steady stream of people looking to you for help means you’ll be dropping off one car and running back to the stand to help the next customer.

Job Location & Additional Information

• Charleston International Airport (5500 International Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29418)
• Full and Part-Time positions are available, with shifts starting as early as 4:30am.
• All offers of employment are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check, which will be conducted on all final candidates.
