We are currently in search of a Validation Technician to join our Research and Development department of the Marquardt Group in our location Cazenovia (USA).
The Validation Technician supports the laboratory development, production launch and maintenance of components or systems. Inspect, assemble and conduct tests on products. Analyze results and maintain accurate records. Service engineering by building and
maintaining test fixtures, chambers and equipment. Assemble and test products.
Validation Technician Essential Responsibilities:
- Follow validation schedule and resolve conflicts to ensure timely execution of validation
to technical specification.
- Troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems and components including injection
molded plastics, PCBAs, low pressure pneumatics, and low voltage wiring harnesses.
- Working with signal conditioning and data acquisition equipment to record reliability data
on units under test.
- Perform installation and repair of test equipment and components as required.
- Execute small projects aimed at test equipment / process optimization with assistance of
engineering.
- Maintain lab, appearance and equipment, in a safe hazard free environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and internal customers to share information
and overcome obstacles.
Validation Technician Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- 0-4 years of experience.
- Experience with general office computer tools (word processing, spreadsheets, office
communications) desired.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers,
peers, and management.
Travel:
Ability to travel both domestically not required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended hours.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.
