Job description
Stonehenge of Orem is seeking an experienced Van Driver/Maintenance Assistant to assist in transporting residents to medical appointments and to the facility upon admit. The Van Driver/Maintenance Assistant will assist with the operations of the Stonehenge facility, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, under the direction of the Administrator. You will also be of aide to the Maintenance Director in helping with duties such as gardening, light fixtures, painting, etc. Come help make Stonehenge of Orem a "place of healing".
- Must possess at least one (1) year of prior experience in a similar working environment (i.e. a clinical setting).
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with other associates at all levels.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, and be able to communicate effectively through the written reports, e-mail, and phone calls.
- Must be able to pass all background checks as required to work with protected populations.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of the state and federal guidelines by which the facility runs, as well as a basic understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, as well as the admissions process (i.e. contracts, public aid applications, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
