Vineyard Columbus is hiring a Pastor for our kid’s ministry who will provide relevant teaching, discipleship and community for first through fifth grade students. This person will lead the grade school weekend experience, recruit and deploy leaders, and partner with families to encourage faith at home.

What you’ll do:

• Working directly with the VC Kids Central Pastor and Next Gen Ministry Leader, you will ensure consistency in programming, safety, and security protocols pertaining to the supervision of kids
• As program director, create a stimulating weekend experience & implement dynamic spiritual environments that inspire the love of learning and discipleship with kids
• Recruit and empower volunteers to lead large and small group components for weekend programming
• Serve as a member of the Vineyard Columbus Pastoral Team, meeting regularly to discuss church strategy, vision, trends, theology, collaboration, spiritual development, and providing the best care for the congregants of Vineyard Columbus.
• Provide relevant vehicle(s) for discipleship, which engages kids and forms partnerships with parents
• Develop kids in ministry gifts and calling using weekend programming, unique trainings, special events, and salvation/baptism platforms.
• Contribute to weekend services including preaching, small group leadership, working with families in the areas of marriage, illness, hospital visits, funerals and other significant life events

What you bring:

• 1-3 years’ experience in large church/ministry and/or a bachelor's degree in a related field

• Skilled, charismatic large group speaker and trainer with ability to lead grade school kids
• Training and/or demonstrated experience with the pastoral care of kids and families

• Relevant experience/training with online ministry strategies and tools
• Strong administrative skills in managing teams, projects, budgets, and communications
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, train in spiritual disciplines of kids a plus
• Experience working/leading in diverse environments and with multi-racial, multi-cultural families
• Experience working/leading in diverse environments with multi-racial and multi-cultural families a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with social media platforms
• Knowledge and embodiment in practice of the scriptures
