What You’ll Do Here: Verification Associates are the first line of defense against fighting fraud. They analyze multiple data points to ensure our equipment will be in good hands. With fraud ever-evolving, they must always be on the lookout and adapt to emerging trends and scrutinize when need be. They can create a friction point between customers and their rentals, so a positive and upbeat personality goes a long way. A self-starter who can work within a routine is huge because some of their tasks have daily deadlines.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer customer questions about how to verify their account
- Connect with customers daily via phone and email about verification
- Work cross-functionally with our CS team to avoid customer friction
- Verify accounts through documents, deposits and certificates of insurance
- Execute tasks triaged to them regularly
- Process cancellations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equal work experience is preferred
Experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience (especially with hard conversations)
- Basic knowledge of photography and video equipment is desired but not required
- A Strong ability to multitask
- The confidence to make fast-paced decisions
- Experience in a team-based environment
