As a Veterinary Student Extern, you will be actively mentored (and depending on your year of school) as you develop technical skills while participating in rounds, surgery, treatments, and consultations with clients. Our industry-standard mentorship resource guide will help you and your mentor intentionally identify objectives to focus on to ensure your experience is customized for what you want to achieve. Your experience could include gathering histories, performing physical examinations, developing diagnostic and therapeutic plans, or building case management plans depending on what you are hoping to experience. We are here to help you become the doctor you want to be!
