We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing who will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy, centered on enabling and accelerating our growth. Your team will orient around 3 primary functions: (1) Demand Generation, (2) Product Marketing, (3) Communications & Branding.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go to market plan that results in material and measurable net-new pipeline contribution from the marketing function, and converts through to bookings to drive organic revenue growth for the organization
  • Develop and implement a digital-first orientation to our marketing strategy, appropriately balanced across customer retention and expansion, and customer acquisition
  • Position the company, our products and our experience uniquely within the industry and markets we serve, covering branding, positioning, inbound marketing, and brand awareness, ensuring that our brand and positioning is differentiated and consistent across all points of the buying journey
  • Build our marketing communications function, via digital assets, PR and social media to generate brand awareness and unique positioning, alongside ownership of internal communications
  • Partner with sales to provide leads, campaigns and sales collateral, prospect database, and sales enablement tools, including website and digital content, that measurably drive incremental pipeline growth, improve conversion ratios, and increase contribution to bookings
  • Develop and lead a marketing team to own all facets of marketing including content, website, demand generation, PR, analytics, SEO/M, events, product positioning & marketing, communications (internal and external) and company branding
  • Implement and continually optimize the end-to-end lead workflow process, from MQL-SQL-SAL-booking, ensuring that is aligned to the channels, industries, and markets that we serve
  • Develop unique marketing strategies aligned to our customer and prospect segmentation and optimized toward retention, growth and customer acquisition – for example, lead and implement an ‘Account Based Marketing’ program for our highest value customers and prospective customers

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience managing the strategic development and execution of marketing activities in a software environment
  • Marketing leadership experience with a software company
  • Experience working in a PE-backed environment
  • Extremely high attention to detail with strong project management, analytical, planning and budgeting skills
  • Ability to work productively with internal groups, including executive team and board
  • Experience with modern strategies for inbound and outbound lead generation
  • Prior experience driving Customer Retention marketing initiatives
  • Proven experience developing lead / demand generation program & strategies
  • Ability to partner with sales team to optimize customer buying journey
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation tools
  • Ability to “roll up your sleeves” and dive into projects with the team
  • Track record of delivering results
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline
  • Experience with acquisition integrations preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
