VICE PRESIDENT of OPERATIONS

Quantem Aviation Services is a premier aviation support provider specializing in ground handling, cargo and mail operations, and passenger services.

As we embark on our next phase of domestic and international growth of our business services, we have an exciting opportunity available for a strong operations leader based in any city in the U.S. where our presence is currently established.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Operations is the senior leader responsible for providing oversight and management of all aspects of day-to-day operations for our ground handling cargo and mail as well as other aircraft and passenger services lines of business. Your key accountabilities include fiscal responsibility; providing service including people, culture and customer; operational efficiency; strategic planning and initiative.

As the ideal candidate, your qualifications include:

• A minimum of 10 years of senior aviation operations management experience in a complex and dynamic business environment.
• Relevant post-secondary education, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling you to successfully lead and mentor people both virtually and in-person.
• Ability to develop and interpret financial goals and results.
• Proven track record of leading by example, proven mentorship, positive relationship building and customer satisfaction.
• Business development support initiatives and experience in commissioning new start-up business.
