Position Summary

The Video Producer will manage a nimble video production program, designed to capture quality footage from schools, classrooms, author interviews, associate interviews, and major events. This footage will be optimized for use in a variety of marketing channels including websites, social media, and other outlets. The ideal candidate will work with Solution Tree and Marzano Resources authors and associates to capture the most compelling stories that differentiate our brands among the K-12 space.

Primary Duties:

The Video Producer will manage a cost-effective and nimble process for capturing on-location video footage. The scope of work involves editing video and audio together with visual effects to create compelling marketing messages, as well as other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• This role will be responsible for working across multiple internal departments as well as a wide range of authors, associates and customers.
• The Video Producer will be required to complete multiple projects simultaneously at high levels of quality, on time and on brand.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of video production and editing experience in a fast paced, commercial environment
• Demonstrated on-location videography capabilities and equipment knowledge, including experience meeting lighting and sound requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work within budgetary and time constraints
• Deep experience capturing and editing audio and video using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Knowledge of streaming providers and vendors: CDN's, Cloud Providers, OVP's, Encoding Hardware, etc.
• Experience designing and creating supplemental visuals for videos - slides, conceptual graphics, animations and special effects
• A demonstrated history of resourcefulness — overcoming obstacles to solve problems creatively
• Excellent communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality
• Ability to travel approximately 15 - 20% of the time to events, client school districts, regional meetings, etc.

• Illustrator
