What we are looking for

NextCare Urgent Care is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Virtual Health Coordinator.

Location

Join our centralized Virtual Health team in Tempe, AZ. This position can be Remote-Work at Home after a period of in-office training. All candidates must live in Maricopa County, or Pinal County, Arizona - no exceptions.

Responsibilities

The Virtual Health Coordinator is responsible for

• Collaborating with Virtual Health Providers in the care of our patients
• Triaging patients in preparation of their virtual visit
• Scheduling patient visits as needed
• Managing the virtual waiting room
• Completing any necessary follow up and referrals needed
• Assisting with appropriate and miscellaneous projects as assigned and able

How you will make an impact

The Virtual Health Coordinator supports the organization with high quality customer service, by delivering a seamless, repeatable, and excellent virtual experience to NextCare customers.

Essential Education, Experience and Skills:

Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Prior experience in an urgent care or other clinical setting

Skills:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providers, team members, and management
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Flexibility to adapt to procedural changes

Cooperative and able to work well with others

Valued But Not Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Education:

• Clinical education and/or certifications

Experience:

• Virtual care
• Electronic medical records
• Front and/or back medical office

Skills:

Bilingual a plus
