We are currently seeking sports reporters/journalists who are esports lovers, general basketball enthusiasts and are self-starters, enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work in a committed team environment.

You would be a part of a passionate team offering support to an innovative project that merges broadcast media with a digital/virtual basketball league to provide a sports-gaming experience like never seen before. The ideal candidates will be consistent, creative, able to produce on tight deadlines, communicable and available, able to work remotely and will possess a great love for basketball as well as the nuance around basketball broadcasts.

To be noted, this position is an unpaid, non-exclusive, internship-to-contract position with the potential for a stake in ownership.

A breakdown of desired qualifications for the position as follows:

• Able to watch virtual basketball streams routinely
• Sports journalism & writing (formal or informal) experience - AP style writing a plus
• Ability to execute creative writing utilizing themes, narratives & trends
• Ability to execute creative/objective/purpose-driven writing
• Willingness to initiate conversations
• Schedule driven, understanding the flow of the sports media cycle
• Ability use/learn technical tools: Mee6, Google Drive, Google Sheets & Discord
• Ability to adhere to firm formatting procedures
