Job summary HYBRID POSITION: This is expected to be a hybrid position. The position will work partially out of their home office and partially out of an Amazon office on a weekly basis. Relocation package and assistance available. Position must be based out of one of these cities: Seattle, WA; Nashville, TN; San Francisco, CA; Arlington, VA; or Tempe, AZ. We are seeking a talented Visual Designer to help create and optimize best-in-class web experiences and digital communications for candidates seeking hourly jobs with Amazon. The ideal candidate has familiarity with designing content landing pages, emails and other digital assets, understands design systems, UX best practices, responsive design, and is comfortable working in a content management system (CMS) to author the pages they design. Key job responsibilities • Create high fidelity visual design mockups for mobile first web experiences • Create email templates and assets for multiple digital channels • Work through ambiguity to deliver results in a fast-paced environment • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to create compelling visual solutions • Work closely with the UX Designer, UX Researcher and Optimization teams to define new experiences to test • Present design work to cross-functional partners and executive leadership using visuals, writing and verbal communications • Contribute to user experience design guidelines and documentation of best practices and standards • Identify opportunities to redefine the candidate experiences, based on research, best practices and design thinking A day in the life The successful candidate will spend their time working with a team of strategists, analysts, writers and designers to translate requirements into customer centric design solutions. You will tackle a wide array of design problems from complex campaign landing pages to simple emails and should be comfortable presenting your work to senior stakeholders. Once the comps have been approved, you will work with the web producers to author your approved comps in our homegrown content management system. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and leading content management systems is a serious plus for this role. About the team Amazon’s mission is to be the most customer centric company in the world.   • Experience working closely with UX and Analytics teams
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

The base pay range for this position is $120,500 - 163,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
