Job Description:
Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.Seeking positive and mature, service-oriented volunteers to assist in our not-for-profit hospital gift shop.
Physical Requirements:
Duties - This role includes, but is not limited to the following activities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors and staff as needed (i.e., gift selection and purchase)
- Operate register
- Provide gift deliveries to patients
- Answer phones
- Assist with stocking merchandise and maintaining product displays.
Commitment -
- One shift per week for a minimum of six months. Exceptions may be given for vacations and illness.
Qualifications -
- Good customer service and telephone skills.
- Works well with diverse populations.
- Practices good hygiene.
- Previous work in retail environment preferred, but not required.
- Must be 14 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements -
- Moderate lifting/carrying/pushing
- Adequate hearing and vision (able to read small print)
