Fluke Health Solutions is looking for a hardworking individual to lead our Global Operations & Manufacturing organization!

The Vice President of Global Operations will report into Company President and become a member of the Senior Leadership Team where you will develop and implement global operations strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to improve overall operational performance in alignment of company strategy and associated strategic objectives. Additionally, you will contribute to the company strategy, support execution of top-level priorities and policy deployment and provide broad based leadership!

In this role, you will lead multiple organizations located in Glenwood, Chicago; Billdal, Sweden; Paris, France; and Everett, Washington, and lead functions across the four plants, including production, manufacturing engineering, commodity management, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Continuously enhance value for our customers and all Operations’ partners to deliver sustained value creation through expectation setting and building organizational capability.

Communicate and advocate a shared vision and strategy that clearly highlights linkage and contribution to the larger Organization Strategy and to the company and Fortive strategies.

Model and drive a one-team mentality that demonstrates grit and resilience in meeting commitments, holds each other accountable for meeting commitments, values inclusion, and diversity in all forms, and demonstrates transparency.

Build a successful organization by accelerating the development of talent and elevating capability through all levels of the organization to enable delivery of organizational objectives.

Purposefully drive multi-year plans that delivers on our strategy and objectives, drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and costs; builds strength and depth in the broad-based application of FBS fundamentals.

Ensure deployment of robust functional Daily Management/Visual Management and Operational Review cadences at appropriate points of impact to ensure Global Manufacturing Organization fulfills its charter and meets its customer and business commitments

Acquire, align, and prioritize resources and budgets to meet production needs, new product requirements, and customer expectations.

Purposefully benchmark the “Best of the Best” operations inside and outside of Fortive and leverage to improve Global Manufacturing operations; provide reciprocal benchmarking and support to colleagues across Fortive.

Sponsor and leading all aspects of the Global Production, Sales, and Inventory planning process (PSI). Assist in assurance of supply issues as required.

Ensure coordination of New Product Introduction (NPI) product transition from engineering to manufacturing and ensure operational readiness.

Set and lead capital, fixed and variable budgets for Global Manufacturing , providing end-of-month variance reporting and analysis, absorption accounting analysis and forecasting, and corrective actions as required.

Partner with the Senior Operations Leadership Team to define global operations strategy and priorities, and lead selected global initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Cross-functional management experience, preferably in a global environment.

Experience leading and delivering results across multiple locations and within a matrixed organization.

Successful application of data and fact-based structured problem solving.

Experience successfully demonstrating Lean Manufacturing and Fortive Business System (or similar).

Experience developing talent; building high performing inclusive and diverse Teams.

Proven success leading teams through change and crisis resolution.

BS Degree in, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent field.

Desired

10+ years of operations management experience.

Varied experiences in manufacturing engineering, R&D (or similar), production operations, and various materials management roles a plus.

Master’s degree in business or technical field a plus.

Experience running an operating budget.
