The Vice President of IT will establish departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures and ensure departmental accountability for performance. Develop and implement an IT organizational structure that proactively engages and interacts as a trusted business partner to key functional areas in support of short- and long-term business objectives.

Job Duties:

• Provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives.
• Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future IT resources and systems across the organization
• Proactively identify and develop plans to mitigate business risks related to the deployment and reliance on IT-enabled systems and services
• Develop and implement action plans for technology, business applications, and related processes, reporting initiatives, and data management systems
• Develop business case justifications and cost-benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Approve, prioritize the IT portfolio related to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
• Create a portfolio of approved solutions for business systems and processes based on business value
• Actively pursue and implement leading-edge technology to improve business processes and systems
• Serve as the knowledge and advisory resource for all department and division leaders to ensure technology is appropriately aligned with the business needs
• Oversight of Operational and Capital Expense budget for the Information Technology organization
• Supervise, coordinate, and assign activities to department staff
• Provide mentoring and coaching to all teams
• Serve as an Executive Sponsor with customers on issues, questions, and concerns regarding the areas within the Information Organization

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Related Field Preferred
• Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems
• Experience with SQL databases and managing systems on SQL
• Experience with growing a company’s IT needs and migrating systems to newer or better systems
• Experience with managing the Development, controlling, and processing proprietary applications
• Must have 8-10 years of experience in the following:
• Managing an IT Team and identifying new systems as needed
• Windows Server
• Linux Environment
• LDAP/Active Directory
• Networking/Security Principles
• Switching and Routing
• PCI Compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $165,000.00 per year
