RAW MATERIAL OPERATOR
Location: Buford, GA.
Schedule: Monday to Friday,
1st Shift: 5:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Contract: Temp-To-Perm
Pay Rate: $15.00 an hour (based on experience)
OVERVIEW:
Are you looking to start or continue a career in manufacturing?
We have a job willing to train you in operating an extrusion machine!
Experience is a plus, but not necessary!
Responsibilities:
· Complete setups, startup, and operate twin-screw compounding extrusion production equipment to produce compounds
· Ensure online testing results are recorded in SAP as specified per work order
· Ensure all production paperwork is complete before releasing completed production orders to QA
· Accurate recording of production time, yield, and scrap for each production order.
· Label and return unused raw materials from production line scales to Raw Material Preparation area.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
1. Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
2. Mechanical aptitude and math skills a plus
3. Oral and written communication skills are helpful
4. Forklift experience/certification is also a plus
