As a Warehouse Associate, duties include receiving, shipping and unload/load trucks at established standards for personnel safety, SQF food safety and performance. Responsible for the operation of forklifts, establishing priorities and sequences for warehouse and manufacturing requirements. You will be working in a 30 degree environment.

FULL TIME Associate

Schedule: Sunday, Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with Friday and Saturday OFF

Hours: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

May be asked to work later than 10:30pm.

May be asked to work overtime and to pick up a sixth day.

Pay rate: $21.00 per hour

• Hours worked from 2pm to 1030pm will have a second differential of $.50 per hour for any work done during that time period.
• Hours worked from 1030pm to 6am will have a third shift differential of $1.00 per hour for any work done during that time period.

Do not need to be Forklift Certified but a huge plus on being able to operate a stand-up forklift. 

Responsible for receiving items from the delivery trucks and picking items

• Assists supervision in standardizing procedures/practices to improve warehouse efficiency and/or product quality.
• Receive inbound loads
• Inspect loaded trucks before leaving the dock
• Complete all HACCP documentation
• Complete work orders and ensure correct items, dates, and brands are specified
• Wrap pallets and stack correctly
• Matchbox/weights for all PDS products coming in against the manifest
• Use RF scan to accurately scan inventory for receiving and shipping product
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment at all times
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices
• Basic written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Expected to work in all areas as needed

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with established policies and procedures.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA rules and regulations (THINK “SAFETY FIRST”).
• Ability to recognize unsafe acts and conditions in the facility and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Ability to fully complete appropriate paperwork related to specific job functions in addition to quality and safety/training.
• Complete all annual training.
• Ability to recognize and report all incidents; even those that do not warrant treatment.
• Review and execute our Food Safety Plan and MFP Mission Statement in order to provide value to each of our customers with safe, relevant, tasty food products; while never compromising quality.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene, etc.

Education and Experience:

Education/Experience Requirements: (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40-80 pounds
