Job description
Austin Subaru is looking for a hard-working Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments. This individual must be organized and detail-oriented.
A minimum of 2 years experience is required.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily inspections of inbound & outbound items
- Un-boxing and re-boxing of products
- Inspections required upon deliveries
- Loading and unloading of trucks when needed
- Helping with product returns and warranty scrap
- Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
Skills and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly through the course of the day without assistance.
- Ability to operate manual material handling equipment, such as dollies and hand jacks.
- Continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to identify items on all paperwork including, but not limited to: customer orders and labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bill of ladings as needed.
- Basic computer skills that include some warehouse management systems.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment while upholding the company's goals and core values.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed and or required
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Must be able to put things in alphabetical & numerical order
- Must have the ability to be trained
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.
- This is a full-time position.
Compensation:
- Starting at $20 an hour.
