Who are we? Centrix is a leading innovator and manufacturer of dental materials, based in Shelton, CT.

Who are you? You are experienced in Shipping and Receiving in a manufacturing environment and are organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate domestic and international dealer orders, as well as convention and sample orders
• Pick, check, and pack orders
• Process Postal/UPS/Fed Ex/DLH/Airborne and other shipping methods as required
• Record lot number information and invoice orders
• Trace and follow-up shipments as required
• Perform finished goods cycle counts
• Contact carriers for pick-ups
• Ocassional back-up driver, and load and unload trucks
• Process P. O. receiving/non-inventory items/all incoming items
• Deliver and place materials in appropriate areas
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Operate a fork lift

Skills

• Proven working experience as a shipping clerk
• Proficiency in shipping (particularly UPS) and ERP software
• Strong data entry skills
• Basic math skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and maneuver generally between 20 - 50 lbs, and ocassionally up to 70 lbs.
• Forklift experience a plus
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
