We are seeking Warehouse Drivers.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Reports to Warehouse Manager
- Drives Company vehicles with 40 stops for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites often having to get in and out of the cab 40 times as well as in and out of the back of the truck 40 times
- Reviews route sheets to establish daily delivery quotas
- Inspects invoices and issues customers with dated delivery notes
- Unloads product which is 35-50 lbs., sometimes lifting over head, thoughtfully to facilitate quick access and to ensure product is properly secured
- Maintains Company vehicles with daily pre-trip inspection
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Requirements and Physical Demands:
- Must obtain a clean driving record an up to date DOT physical and a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B or Class A
- Must have excellent communication, problem solving skills and ability to work independently with little supervision in a past paced environment
- Must possess outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Must be able to operate a forklift and regularly lift up to 35-50 lbs. throughout a work shift
- Must be able to frequently and repetitively lift 35-50 lbs., twist, squat, bend, walk and sit
- Must be able to operate the Company vehicles in a safe manner as mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and local regulations
- Must be able to maneuver any delivery equipment safely
- Hours vary. 9 - 12 hour days, 5 days with flexibility of occasional Saturdays
- Must be a team player
