ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Warehouse for maintenance in BASF PORT ARTHUR, TX

The activities included are: 40HRS NO PERDIEM - some weekend work

• Receives Incoming Deliveries
  • Verifies Delivered Quantity
  • Basic QC Check for Correct Part and Condition
  • Performs SAP GR (RealTime)
  • Places in Designated Bin
  • Performs Put-Away Counts
• Issues Materials
  • Performs SAP GI (RealTime)
  • Issues Kits/Materials to Maintenance
• Storeroom Organization
  • Assigns Bin Locations for new Materials.
  • Maintain Storeroom Labeling/ Organization
  • Maintains Clutter Free Environment
• Material Stocking Governance
  • Returns Materials
  • Works with Site Coordinator to get new material numbers made for leftover Project/Outage materials that need to be stored
  • Performs daily cycle counts
• Pulls material for Maintenance Reservations
• Assigns Kit Locations and communicates with Planners through SAP Kitting Methodology
• Tracks work progress to descope unused materials after job completion
• Returns items to stock and credits associated work orders
• Cleans, organizes and labels kitted material and bins as needed
• Provides backup to Site Goods Issuer/Receiver and Material Stock Coordinator
• Receive and count stock items, and turn in packaging slip to materials clerk with accurate material count.
• Unpack delivered goods and store in appropriate location until issue.
• Notify appropriate department when ordered item has arrived or deliver to appropriate department.
• Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and inventory updates.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Use identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

• Must have 5+ years experience working in a warehouse.
• Must have 2+ years experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position
• Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in the construction of a Combined-Cycle Power plant
• Must be organized and have the ability to complete an accurate count on items received.
• Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively.
• Must be familiar with basic computer operations.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Must be able to use tools such as hammers and drills in order to open crated materials received or to crate materials that are scheduled to be shipped.

Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.

• Will talk and hear to communicate.

• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull: objects, materials, controls and tools.

• May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.

• Will occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work off of platforms.

• Will use vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception and peripheral vision.

• Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.

• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly.

• Ability to perform math computations, including adding, subtracting, division and have an understanding of the metric system

Preferred Additional Qualification

• Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.
• Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
• Previous experience in this position with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
