Weatherization Crew (FT)
Job description
JOB SUMMARY:
- Install slab and pre-hung doors.
- Fits and installs storm windows, weather stripping thresholds.
- Install new replacement windows.
- Install door/window trim, locksets, and installation of door and windowsills.
- Sheetrock, roof repair, and performs necessary caulking and air sealing of houses.
- Performs other-directed weatherization activities on assigned work sites.
- Seal all penetration's in attics, mark junction boxes.
- Insulate walls and attics per regulations.
- Responsible for all equipment utilized in the performance of duties.
- Adheres to all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Attend all required training and maintain required certifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Two (2) years of carpentry or weatherization experience.
- Knowledge of tools, methods, practices, and materials used in weatherization projects. Must be in good physical condition and have no physical restrictions.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Skill in maintaining quality in work performed.
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions.
- High school graduate or GED.

Today we have 26 Head Start classrooms in 15 public schools, and 98 Head Start classrooms total providing services to thousands of children in Oklahoma County.
