WEATHERIZATION TECHNICIAN-- Full-time position available for motivated individual with the ability to complete home weatherization repairs. Responsibilities include home repairs to reduce air infiltration including insulation, weather-stripping and window repair/replacement. Training provided.

Requirements include carpentry experience, high school diploma and valid PA Driver’s License. Current Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Clearance must be provided.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Shall perform weatherization tactics as determined by an energy audit as established by the PA Weatherization Field Guide.

2. Shall be responsible for maintenance of all assigned tools.

3. Shall be responsible for adhering to proper work and safety rules as established by Schuylkill Community Action including lead based paint guidelines.

4. Shall be responsible for assisting crew chief in the maintenance of all

inventory related records and logs.

5. Shall comply with all operational procedures relating to the functions of

the Weatherization Program.

6. Shall maintain appropriate behavior in all official actions and

communications with the public, reflecting an interest and true concern

for the problems of the clients served.

7. Shall maintain a current Pennsylvania Driver’s License.

8. Shall perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Weatherization and Crew Chief.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
