As a Business Systems Analyst for Williams Sonoma, you will be creating web applications hosted in our virtual server environment to support our Supply Chain operations. In this role, you will not be limited to a specific part of the development cycle! You will have the opportunity to design and develop back-end databases, server-side APls, and client-side scripting for user interfaces. You will also work hand-in-hand with Systems Analysts and users to document requirements and software diagrams to produce code.
Essential Job Functions

• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Design new applications by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
• Design Web UI and DB models using functional and non-functional prototypes .
• Design and write business reports using various database tools.
• Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
• Recommends controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
• Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements.
• Manages project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.

• Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
• Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, and training users.
• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or programming certificate
• 2+ years of experience building web applications
• ASP.Net/C# or Java (preferably ASP.Net/C#)
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Object Oriented Design and Programming
• Strong SQL foundation for creating and querying databases
• Database design with understanding of normalization concepts
• Able to read and produce UML and ERO diagrams
• Strong understanding of the SDLC

Other Preferred Qualifications

• JQuery or similar frameworks
• Experience with AJAX design concepts
• Experience working in a version -cont ro lled environment (GIT preferred)
• Experience with n-tier applications in a distributed environment
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with testing concepts across the SDLC
• Experience performing business analysis to produce business requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
