We are looking for someone who has 5+ years of experience testing and supporting web applications. This role is for individuals who can work effectively as part of our global development team, along with the ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
Day-to-day tasks include requirements and specification analysis, test planning, test case execution, defect reporting as well as status reporting. The candidate will be required to develop manual test cases with a view to automating them and therefore the role would suit somebody who has experience of/ willing to get involved at all stages of the STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Key Responsibilities:
- P articipate in grooming/refinement sessions.
- Design and implement detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and document test artifacts.
- Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results.
- Develop tools to automate manual work, knowledge on test automation frameworks.
- Identify bugs and report with recommendations.
- Support/Troubleshoot any technical issues with integration encountered during testing.
- Replicating issues that are raised by Support teams to understand customer issues and subsequent re-testing of releases, which include fixes.
- Interfacing with development, support, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Functional, regression, performance, and failover testing.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and outstanding issues/tasks.
- Own the assigned stories for completion.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and life cycle
- Hands on manual and automated testing experience
- Strong knowledge of web testing frameworks
- Hands-on on API webservice validations
