Job description
Under the direct supervision of the County Weed Control Manager or Assistant Coordinator, duties include the identification and control of noxious weeds throughout the County, as well as public education. Follows established weed management methods while observing public, personal and environmental safety. Performs other tasks as needed. This is a seasonal full-time position that works approximately 6 months from May to October.
Qualifications
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED Required • Work Experience: Experience in weed control, natural resource management or related field preferred. • Licenses and Certifications: Valid Colorado driver’s license required at time of hire and throughout employment. Must be able to pass Colorado Department of Agriculture Certified Applicators test within one month of hire.
