Essential Functions*:
- Executes East Alton, Oxford, and Lake City training-related requests, Service Now Learning and Development requests, or audit corrective actions, as assigned.
- Utilizes the learning management system tools and reporting to track and manage Winchester Division training completions aggregately; performs ad-hoc custom reporting.
- Works with Winchester Leadership and Supervision to assess training gaps and develop training plans.
- Facilitates on-site training; maintains site or business group HR & Training calendars; ensures transcript records are updated in the Learning Management System.
- Acts as regional learning management system administrator expert; uses other HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft and Taleo as assigned.
- Develops and directs on-the-job learning experiences such as monitored simulations and problem-solving scenarios.
- Works with supervisors to develop and maintain skills inventories; identifies solutions to close gaps, reskill or upskill, or transfer job knowledge.
- Maintains site or business group training audit readiness by working with Corporate Internal Auditors and supervisors in advance of audits and periodically self-auditing training records.
- Maintains HR and Learning and Development Compliance standards, as regulated and per Olin policies and practices.
- Pursues opportunities, builds proposals for staff, and facilitates approvals for local and state training grants.
- Supports HR processes as assigned such as on-the-job training processes, probationary processes, onboarding, offboarding, goal setting, end-of-year processes, and others as directed.
Position Requirements*:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree** in Human Resources Management, Organizational Management, Industrial and Labor Relations, HR Development, Training and Education, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of recent related hands-on Learning Professional or HR Generalist experience.
- Experience with hands-on training facilitation, Learning Management Systems, and HRIS Administration.
- Must have hands-on demonstrated training content development, build, and design experience including aesthetic, design, composition, effective language, and typographic abilities.
- Operational processes, procedures, practices, and technical knowledge and application experience preferred; Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of related federal, state, and local regulatory requirements preferred.
- Microsoft Office, Learning Management System (LMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). HRIS, Saba, and SAP preferred.
- Design and media development tools experience such as Articulate 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Sound Booth, or other audio editing tools and HTML is preferred.
- Working knowledge of ADDIE and full learning and development-cycle experience.
- Ability to travel on flexible schedules, as needed.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), presentation, and facilitation skills.
- This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
- This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
