X-ray Technologist Hazlet, NJ 07730

We are looking for a motivated X-ray Technologist to join our team in our urgent care center in Hazlet, NJ. We are looking for someone that can join our group, capturing x-rays and assisting the medical team/providers and administration to help ensure the best, most comprehensive patient care. Our centers are staffed with physicians, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff. We treat both acute and chronic illnesses as well as injuries on a walk-in basis. Our patients benefit from radiology and lab services being available under one roof.

Job Duties:

• Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety

• Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to the radiology procedures

• Position patients and Obtain x-rays-Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images

• Assist other staff members (Medical Assistants, Front Desk Associates, Providers) as needed

• Maintain exam and x-ray rooms

• Stock medical/radiologic supplies

• Supports staff by promptly following orders, operating equipment to acquire images for diagnosis and treatment of patients

• Assist medical and administrative staff when necessary

Requirements:

• Diagnostic Radiography license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• Licensed in the state of NJ

• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette

• Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour weekdays OR 2x12 hour weekdays and 2x8 hour weekend days OR 5x8 hour weekdays per week

Salary (range):

• $30-35 per hour
