Elwood Staffing is looking for yard dog drivers for New South Express.
2 years of box truck or truck driving experience required. CDL is not
required for this job.

New South Express (NSE) is a subsidiary company of Honda Logistics
North America (HLNA) and provides logistic services to the Honda
manufacturing facility. NSE was established in 2000 and has locations
in Lincoln, Al and Talladega, AL.

YARD DOG DRIVER DETAILS:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.88 to $18.23 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
• For the Yard Dog position, you do not have to have a CDL driver's

license; however, you must possess a valid Alabama driver's license.

• Minimum of two (2) years truck driving experience - for example, a

box truck, tractor trailers or over the road experience.

• Pay rates for the Yard Dog position begin at $17.88/$18.23 for 2nd

shift an hour, with pay increases, topping out at $19.23/$19.58 for
2nd shift.

• You will train on first shift, but begin working on second shift.

YARD DOG DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Yard dog driver for New South Express.
• Drivers should have 2 years verifiable box truck or truck driving

experience.

• Candidates must to have a valid Alabama Drivers License.
• Must be able to back up to a dock without any issues.
• Candidates will need to be able to work in hot and cold outdoor

environment.

• Candidates will need to be able to hook up and unhook trailers.
• This job requires a lot of walking, bending, squatting, pushing and

pulling.

• Willing to work overtime and scheduled production Saturdays, as

required.

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being

employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire.
