Hiring Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) Youth Care Service Professionals and Supervisors for multiple positions in near Midland, Texas.

Description:
Your work will provide the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement critical support providing line of sight supervision for unaccompanied children (UCs) at an Influx Care Facility where they will stay for up to 30 days. UCs are approximately ages 13-17 (adolescent) with the possibility of oversight for children under the age of 13. You will ensure the safety and security of all children and their quality of life while in the facility during their stay at the facility.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Direct care and monitoring of unaccompanied children
• Communicating with other service providers to ensure seamless transitions and adherence children’s behavior, education, and or medical plans
• Ensuring the physical safety of the unaccompanied children
• Adhering to all ORR and Culmen policies related to the supervision unaccompanied children
• Completing all reporting accurately and within a timely manner
• Culmen and ORR have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination based on race, sexual orientation, religion, or other affiliation. Ensure all staff adhere to and are aware of this policy.   
• The responsibilities of each Youth Care Worker will vary based on the qualifications and experience presented (manager(s), shift managers, etc.).

Qualified Youth Care Workers will possess the following:

• 2+ years’ experience directly caring for or interacting with children at a youth care provider facility similar to: ABA behavioral health clinic, Behavioral health hospital, childcare organization, community-based home, juvenile residential facility, school, day care, emergency intake center, or similar organization
• Shift Managers: 3+ years’ experience
• Managers: 4+ years’ experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) 
• High school diploma or GED
• Empathetic and compassionate individual with the ability to maintain confidentiality 
• Availability to support flexible schedules, depending on position, including 12-hour shifts
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA in Social Work, Education, or related field (Required for Managers)
• Experience working in Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), or related organizations
