The Department of Arts and Communication seeks adjuncts in Communication Studies. The candidate will join a rapidly growing program offering a B.A. in Communication Studies with developing concentrations in Corporate Communication, Health & Relational Communication, Media & Public Communication, and Communication Studies, along with minors in Communication Studies and interdisciplinary minors in Film Studies, Religious Studies, and Gender Studies.
This is a non-tenure track position with the possibility of renewal. The candidate will be responsible for teaching up to three 75-minute lecture courses per semester as needed. All areas of communication are invited to apply. Candidates with research or teaching interests in Critical Race Studies or Latino/a Studies are especially welcome. Applicants must have earned at least a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and must have earned at least 18 graduate-level semester hours in Communication Studies or other closely related field. A Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates must have college teaching experience. Candidates must be willing to teach throughout the day, including evening, as well as online.
