Hermitage Hall (a UHS company) is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment Hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years.

We are currently looking for an 1st Shift Lead Weekends to join our team of dedicated professionals. +++This role requires a full background check including fingerprint, drug screen, and employment verification.

Schedule: Thursday-Monday

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides guidance and leadership to Residential Counselor to ensure programming is executed as intended and staff are demonstrating quality resident care. Responsible for coordinating staff appreciation and events for residents. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Hermitage Hall’s policies and procedures. Ensures that staff are following and implementing the program and unit schedules.
Participates in interviewing, training, and identifying opportunities to improve employees’ skill base. Participates in setting standards for and appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems, de-escalation of residents including identifying and implementing actions that reduce physical holds of residents. Utilizes PRN staff in efficient manner to minimize unnecessary overtime. Must understand, practice and support the 3 Service Excellence standards to foster a positive working environment

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Must have BS/BA and 3 years experience working with children/adolescents, preferably in a residential setting. Supervisory experience preferred. Or 5 Years supervisory experience and 4 years related experience with children/adolescents; preferably in a residential setting must have at least one year college credits be in degree seeking program or willing to re-pursue BA/BS degree within 6 months of hire. Must be at least 21 years of age.
