Shift Requirements
3rd ShiftABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Hand-strip cards out of sheets and load down onto skids. Load pockets on machines and catch/pack into boxes and skid boxes
- Hand stripping – manual stripping of forms from full sheets of printed product
- Packing skids – down load folded carton items and pack/load boxes after packaged
- Loading of printed items into the front of the folding machine for automated gluing process
- Periodically perform quality control checks, to ensure product being manufactured complies with the company’s and the client’s requirements
- Assist as a helper on machine as necessary
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
None
High School Diploma or Equivalent
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee is occasionally required to walk
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Starting Rate $16.00/hr
- Shift differential of $3.00 per hour
- On the job training
- Benefits start after 30 days
- Climate controlled facility
