SUMMARY:

The A/R Collections Analyst will own aging, collections and Accounts Receivable and reporting for all PublishingLife transactions and payments. This role reports to the Financial Controller. This is a brand-new role for the organization due to our immense growth as a leader in the Alternative Education space.

Core Responsibilities:

As an A/R Collections Analyst your goal will be to monitor accounts receivable and ensure we collect, create payment arrangements and honor our guarantees.

• General bookkeeping 85% - Quickbooks
• A/R maintenance and management
• Monitor bank reconciliations
• Track and report on collectible and uncollectible transactions
• Prepare and present analytical reports
• Support monthly and quarterly audits and clean ups
• Resolve any issues or disputes of payments
• Perform customer outreach to make payment arrangements and collect as needed
• Categorize and itemize transaction
• Create and document the internal collections process
• Devise an internal alert system to flag payments and late transaction
• Process, track and analyze disputes and refunds
• Track internal bonuses and payments
• Act as the back-up for the Financial Controller on basic accounting functions

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of proven experience as a Collections or A/R analyst or specialist
• Good knowledge of electronic billing procedures
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), HubSpot and Quickbooks
• Excellent communication
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork skills
• BSc/BA in accounting or similar field is preferred
