ABOUT THE JOB
Zeno Chicago is looking for an ambitious influencer specialist to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both paid and earned influencer engagement, across tiers and segments of influencers – from kids to parents, from food to family. The ideal candidate will direct experience identifying influencers and managing relationships, including contract negotiations and ongoing communication about deliverables and content reviews. This candidate should also be highly familiar with the ever-changing influencer landscape and extremely detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple influencer relationships across multiple clients simultaneously to ensure no detail is overlooked.

As an Account Executive, Influencer you’ll be responsible for influencer identification, evaluation and outreach/engagement, including leveraging proprietary tools to evaluate influencer audiences, content quality and average content performance. This candidate will also lead influencer contract negotiations and execution, helping work as a partner to influencers to ensure content meets client expectations and authentically tells brand stories. The AE, Influencer should be able to manage multiple influencer relationships across multiple clients with ease.

This candidate will execute influencer work across social platforms, focusing primarily on Instagram and TikTok, but with the opportunity for additional work on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn. Zeno Group’s relationship-first approach to influencer marketing is high-touch, meaning we need a candidate who is both creative and highly a good communicator. This role will have the opportunity to work with household name brands in a fast-paced environment, which means experience working on multiple projects simultaneously is a must.

About You:

    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination before start date. Candidates may request an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or an exception required under applicable law
    • 2-4 years of experience in a digital, social and/or influencer role
    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in journalism, PR, marketing, or other related field
    • Previous experience managing influencer relationships directly, including contract negotiations; working through an influencer network is not applicable
    • Previous experience identifying influencers of all tiers across verticals, with strong existing knowledge of key creators and common brand guardrails
    • Possess deep knowledge of the influencer industry, trends and top influencers
    • Experience playing a key role in measurement efforts for a social, digital or influencer program, including calculating benchmarks, engagement rates and synthesizing data to demonstrate impact
    • Excellent time management skills and highly organized, with experience working simultaneously on multiple clients and overseeing 10+ influencer relationships at once
    • Experience tracking OOP budgets and managing influencer payments
    • Comfortable with Microsoft Office applications, especially Powerpoint

    • Previous agency experience
    • Experience with top consumer brands
    • Experience with or strong understanding of amplifying (whitelisting) influencer content using paid on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, using either basic targeting or data-driven tactics (e.g. retargeting, lookalikes, etc.)
    • Experience with influencer campaigns that drive e-commerce or conversions
    • Proficiency in Tagger or similar influencer marketing platforms
Pay range: $50,000 to $68,000/year USD
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
