Our client within the Healthcare Industry is currently in the look out for an Accountant for their Healthcare System Operations in San Juan.

Job Summary:

Assist the Senior Accountant and Division Controller in providing accurate, timely, and consistent financial information within generally accepted accounting principles and consistent with company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Performs account reconciliations, trend analysis, and analyzes for completeness.
• Researches information requests and responds to issues related to general ledger accounts.
• Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.

Qualifications and skills

• 2 years of related experience
• BBA in Accounting or related
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office and financial systems
• Bilingual
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
