Job description

The Accounting Clerk is primarily responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions. This is a Full-Time position. The schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. PAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE/ OPEN FOR DISCUSSION!

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems
• Proficient with Excel spreadsheets and formulas
• Knowledge of transportation service standards, driver relations and etiquette.
• Excellent communication, verbal, written, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with employees and guests
• Ability to multi-task, manage interruptions, establish work priorities, handle stress, and effectively function in a fast-paced environment

Experience & Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience, Transportation experience preferred

Language Skills:

• Ability to read, comprehend and provide instructions in English, both written and verbal.
• Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets and software
• Posting financial transactions using appropriate computer software
• Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks
• Entering debits and credits into software applications and databases accurately
• Producing a variety of reports including income statements and balance sheets
• Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
• Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
