Job Purpose

Perform data entry of information to maintain database through Companies software. Responsible for accuracy, efficiency, and retrieval of processed data. Proof material entered as required and generate data as required.

Accounting Clerk major responsibilities:

• Performs data entry using word processing, spreadsheet or database commands and formats material as required.
• Creates data directories subdirectories for file and report generation retrieval purposes. Maintains paper and/or disk file of entered data.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks related to hardware/software or files technical assistance requests as necessary.
• Reviews discrepancies in data received requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues related to data and performs data verification routines in accordance with company procedures.
• Interacts with departmental and other staff on matters affecting data and publications flow and makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensue standards in data entry, collection, and retrieval.
• Perform as the first impression to all employees and quests that enter the administrative office.
• Answer the phones in a professional manner and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain the various files including but not limited to personnel, medical, safety, training. Attendance, payroll, AP, AR, I9
• Maintain the lost and found log and coordinate deliveries to passengers and or the Airport lost and found and other duties that may be assigned.

Accounting Clerk requirements:

• High School or Equivalent
• Proficient computer skills including data entry
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Enthusiastic, positive outlook, and the ability to multi-task
• Great interpersonal skills
• Great Customer service skills
