Position: Accounting Clerk
Reports to: Controller
Status: Full Time, Hourly (Non-OT Exempt)
Position Summary: Full-time employment, working an average of 40 hours per week. Generally, office hours are 8 hours per day, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with a one-hour lunch break. Rarely may require evening or weekend work as projects require.
This position involves basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks; working with multiple entities and projects, intercompany cash management; general office management and organization; and other projects as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided.
Required Skills and Experience: :
- Ability and knowledge to perform accurate accounting and bookkeeping.
- Good verbal and writing communications skills.
- Persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of company employees, management, vendors, and property owners.
- Able to coordinate concurrent multiple project tasks and handle occasional high-stress work environments due to project deadlines.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Typing, computer skills, including Word and Excel, Outlook, Internet.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with daily Property Management accounting and bookkeeping functions under the supervision of the Controller. Including bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, compiling data for lender reporting and other special projects as assigned.
- Maintain continued verbal and written communications with owners, clients and vendors regarding issues related to managed and developed properties and accounting projects.
- Promote growth and goodwill for the company through daily personal contact with owners, tenants, vendors and other outside individuals and organizations
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller

Physical Requirements:
- 90% office work (meetings, phone, computer, etc.)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable for company vehicles.
- Standard vision, with or without corrective eyewear.
- Standard hearing, with or without a hearing aid.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, approximately 3 times per week.
