The Accounting & Finance Analyst is a part of the Administration Team, whose focus and key result is organizational strength, ensuring that we are effectively managing assets – both people and profits.
The Accounting & Finance Analyst performs daily, monthly, and yearly activities including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies. They ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting and payroll data for all lines of business while maintaining corporate standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assists with preparation and review of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (IS, BS, CF)
- Performs variance analysis for monthly income statement
- Analyses related to financial data and key business performance indicators
- Administers all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including payments, deposits, invoicing and AR aging
- Accurate and timely preparation and submission of bi-weekly payroll
- Actively monitors and manages cash accounts
- Responds to internal and external accounting and payroll inquiries without direct supervision
Secondary Functions:
- Assists with forecasting and annual planning, working collaboratively with senior leadership
- Participates in the development of financial dashboard for senior leadership team
- Partners to create and/or improve business processes to enhance ease of use and efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Skilled in using Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite including
- Working knowledge of Sage 100 accounting software, Paylocity payroll, and QuickBooks a plus
- General understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data
- Superior internal and external customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills with high-level verbal and written communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Learning-oriented, ability to learn new procedures, follow current procedures and best practices, and recommend alterations that make processes more efficient
- Precise with attention to detail and accuracy

Experience and/or education:
- Requires education in accounting and/or finance with a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and/or finance; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Experience required in financial accounting; business planning and budgeting preferred.
