Corporate Accounting team in Springfield, MO ⭐⭐⭐

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify daily sales reports and deposit totals
  • Verify property deposits are posted at the bank daily and accurately
  • Follow-up with property managers on any discrepancies or inaccuracies
  • Monitor AP/AR activity
  • Reconcile property petty cash accounts
  • Review property level financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Assist in cash flow management.
  • Reconcile and allocate shared expenses.
  • Complete bank reconciliations.
  • Calculate and post management and franchise fees into accounting software.
  • Analysis of inventory, and communication of adjustments to property managers.
  • Manage merchant accounts, and maintain files for monthly statements.
  • Preliminary preparation of the financial reports for the Director of Accounting.
  • Analyze property actual to budget financial reporting variances.
  • Assist management in year-end work papersPreparation of tax returns

Preparation of annual budget
Review of 1099s.

  • Know and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, certifications, & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of two years of similar experience.
  • Four-year accounting degree; CPA certification is highly desired.
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-site facilities is preferred.
  • Experience creating and managing financial statements.
  • Must be willing to travel to different hospitality locations as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
