Venteon Finance is hiring a talented Accounts Payable Administrator to work in Downtown Detroit. The person will be responsible for providing support to a prestigious wealth management firm.

POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Direct Hire. PAY: $60,000 – 70,000 Annual

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Administrator

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of solid Accounts Payable work experience.
• Previous work experience in a financial management or financial services company.
• Personable and effective communicator.
• Ability to work with complete confidentiality.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger and accounting systems.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Duties of the Accounts Payable Administrator

• Review incoming invoices, code, and post to corresponding accounts within the accounting software
• Process checks, ACH’s, and payment transfers in a timely manner. Domestic and international wire transfers for both personal and business entities through various banks and Docusign.
• Scan and files invoices, along with the supporting documentation, into the electronic filing system.
• Reconciliations for checking, custody, and trust accounts.
• Post general journal entries and reconciles general ledger accounts
• Reconcile multiple monthly bank statements and credit cards
• Collaborate with internal staff and external partners to research and resolve accounts payable related issues.
• Create and reviews monthly cash disbursement reports.
• Create and reviews reports detailing historical expenses and forecasting expenses.
• Reconcile petty cash reports.
• Provide coverage for the Office Administrator by answering incoming calls and distributing incoming mail and packages.
• Assess current company best practices to identify and improve efficiencies.
