Accounts Payable Assistant

PrideStaff Financial is searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant. The Accounts Payable Assistant helps the accounts payable department keep track of all payments owed by the organization. Job Duties:

• Assisting accounts payable and accounting department with given tasks
• Processing due invoices for payment s
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• 3-way matching
• Go through training process of learning general ledger
• Assist with month-end process
• Assist with quarterly reporting
• Data Entry
• Take direction from accounting department
• Other given admin duties
• Using Sage accounting to track expenses

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience required
• Bachelor's Degree not required, but preferred
• Positive attitude that is ready for growth and hungry to work
• Knowledge of AP/AR/ basic accounting principles
• Ability to multi task and get things done within internal timelines

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
