The Accounts Payable Manager for Barcelona Wine Bar will assist with the management and daily functions of the Accounts Payable (AP) department. The AP Manager will be responsible for maintaining ledgers, oversee tax-related transactions, and valuable information. This position will report to the Controller.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Manages and supervises the AP Department and its organization.

• Manages the accounts payable process and various accounting projects.

• Overseeing all tax-related transactions; including 1099 reporting.

• Negotiating payment terms with vendors and suppliers.

• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information.

• Developing and improving processes to gain efficiencies in the AP process.

• Communicating with all restaurants and all departments to ensure vendor payments are approved.

• Reconciling vendor statements for completeness.

• Generating journal support for month end reporting.

• Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and lenders.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a high volume accounts payable environment.

• 2+ years of supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
