SRS Distribution, Inc is hiring an Accounts Payable Supervisor with a focus on our Supplier Maintenance and Disbursement teams . Objectives of this Role:

• Oversee Training of new and existing employees on processes performed by the department and monitor progress
• Evaluate employee performance in preparation of career development discussions and reviews
• Effectively delegate workload and tasks to meet Account Payable SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
• Serve as liaison for resolving complicated vendor issues
• Ensure communication and support to department employees
• Monitor daily workload of department staff to ensure all processes are performed timely
• Work on special projects as assigned
• Review and approve timecards and time off requests
• Take appropriate action in correcting employee performance and conduct
• Assist with monitoring internal controls to ensure proper controls are in place and are followed
• Review resumes, screen, interview potential hires
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
• Associates or Bachelor’s preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years Accounts Payable experience
• Ability to response professionally and calmly work under pressure
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with DMSI, P2P, OCR and MS Dynamics GP are a plus
• Attentional to detail is a must
• Demonstrated leadership, teambuilding and motivational skills is a must
